Hello, I’m Sarah!
My career started in marketing, but my love for writing drew me to the world of grant writing. This combination of skills enables me to create persuasive grant narratives and strategies that catch the attention of funders.
After working as a Grant Writer at a local organization and as part of a Grants Management team with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, I decided to start my own venture, eventually becoming Granting Wishes Consulting in 2021. I am a member of a national grant writers' collective and the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Madison, WI. Originally from the Fox Valley, I now live in Madison with my partner, Landon, and our dog, Bruce. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new restaurants and discovering new hiking trails.

Hello, I’m Megan!
I was born and raised in a small town outside of Madison, WI, where I currently still live with my family. I am a wife and mom to three little boys who are really good at making sure we are always entertained and exhausted! I love spending time outside, running, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
I connected with Sarah and the Granting Wishes Consulting team through our passion and excitement over helping others to achieve their dreams! I look forward to how we can help you accomplish your goals!

In my role as a Grant Writer I bring a strong background in communications, writing, and organizational strategy. I have experience in both the public and private sectors. I excel at translating complex information into a clear, compelling narrative and support clients through every stage of the grant process. As a Midwesterner through and through, I am passionate about helping organizations grow and thrive in the communities I’m proud to call home.
After spending a few years in Nevada, my love for the Midwest brought me back to Wisconsin, where I now live with my husband, our dog Vinny, and our cat Sherry. In my free time, you can find me working on house projects, baking, or reading.
